Future of Humanity Experience x Cracks in Time

Presented as part of the ART ’25 Future of Humanity Experience in Basel, Cracks in Time: The Decade of Change Seen Through Her Eyes is a powerful joint exhibition curated and documented by Kiyono Sakashita in collaboration with AAP Gallery. Featuring six leading Chinese contemporary artists: Chen Xi, Feng Jiali, Huang Min, Shi Liu, Yang Na, and Yu Ping. The show offers a deeply personal and visually striking exploration of the past decade through the lens of the feminine experience.

Complemented by light sculptures by Maritsaki, the exhibition spans two venues and invites viewers to reflect on transformation, memory, and resilience in rapidly changing times. A documentary directed by Sakashita is currently in production.

The Future of Humanity Experience is an interactive, multi-sensory event during Art Basel 2025 that invites participants to explore the evolving relationship between humanity, creativity, and emerging technologies. Through a series of installations, workshops, rituals, and guided experiences, this living exhibition becomes a portal into the futures we are collectively imagining, and creating.
