Social Media Skills to Boost the Visibility of Your Startup or Portfolio Career—Before You Can Hire a Social Media Manager

As a woman founder, you’re already wearing multiple hats—visionary, builder, leader. But one of the most powerful tools for growing your startup or portfolio career is something you can start using right now: strategic visibility on social media.

Showing up consistently on platforms like LinkedIn doesn’t just help you attract opportunities, funding, and collaborators—it also positions you for income streams before you officially launch, while you’re still employed, or exploring your next chapter.

This morning session is built to meet you where you are—with practical steps you can take immediately, even if you’re not a “social media person.”

You’ll walk away with:

• A simple roadmap to update your LinkedIn and/or social profiles so they reflect your current vision and goals

• Where and how to start posting today—even if you’re nervous, unsure what to say, or worried about what others think

• Why these visibility skills are crucial before you can afford to outsource your content or hire a social media manager

• Tools to help you move through the emotional resistance (imposter syndrome, perfectionism, fear of being seen)

• Ways to turn your story, values, and startup journey into magnetic, trust-building content

• How to create a sustainable content rhythm that works alongside your full life

• Smart strategies for engaging with your network and sparking opportunities—without feeling pushy or fake

This is about showing up with clarity and courage, even in the early days—especially when you’re building something that matters.

About the Speaker:

This session is led by Ioana Cozarescu Kind, former social worker and teacher turned portfolio career adviser, social media manager & consultant.

„With a background in social work and non-profit management, I launched my own business during the pandemic—while still employed as a teacher and raising two kids on my own as a widowed mom. I was looking for something with more purpose and more income, all within part-time hours.

I’ve learned that the hardest part isn’t the strategy (that’s actually the easy bit)—it’s the mindset, the self-doubt, and the emotional resistance that keeps so many brilliant women hiding their work.

Today, especially through spaces like this coworking morning, I’ve reached what I envisioned years ago—and my goal is to help you see how you can too."
